Installed Tein SS last night....damper info
I have installed my new Tein SS coil-over's last night. Does anyone with the Tein SS have a setting that they found would be a good ride for everyday driving. I have the front at like 8 clicks and the rear at like 5. Also i have to take one of the rear ones off and trim the dust boot a little because it was rubbing but other then that they are great. No more body moment when i accel. or brake. stays nice and level and way better then those crappy lowering springs and stock shocks.
is hard to installed? how long it take? tein ss required to used some stock parts, like pillowball........? well i got my tein basic but havent a chance to install yet, still set in my closet. hopefully i can install them next weekend.

took about 5 hours(including breaks). with 3 people. that was my first time.
Well it is stiffer but it depends on my damper settings. I mean i have a 2 finger gap all lthe way around. It rides a lot better then stock shocks and lowering springs. It is probably the best ride you can have considering my car is lowered. But i have a upper front, rear, and lower rear tie bar so it rides a little stiffer, but man can she handle.

Yeah you can go way lower... I have barely a 2 finer gap with 205/40/17's and it looks sweet... with my stock tires on there is no finger gap! I got it dropped all the way in the front and dropped the rear so it was level.... Its been raining here so damn much lately i never have washed or waxed my car in a while.. next time I wash and wax it I'll have pics....

Its not too bad, I have my dampending set at 5 clicks from firm all the way around... I mean you still feel every bump, its just a stiff ride. It doesnt bounce like it use too wich my stock strusts on the eibach prokit... If am on a smooth road it rides great, feels like I'm floating....

On my sedan I have about 1 and a half finger gap all around with teins ss. I set mine to the max postion and I love how it rides. I mean my friend with a integra with sway bars, strut bar, and ground controls was flipping out. The ride is perfect in my opnion, Keep in mind I have 215/45/17 tires
