Will this size tire rub at all on a 2003 lx sedan at stock ride height with a +40 offset?

I'm running 225/40 (17' rims, so the total dia. is almost the same) on a 2005 Coupe.
I have a bit of rubbing issues in the rear and I'm only lowered 1.4"
I will have to roll my rear fenders and run negative camber to prevent the rubbing.
I believe your car is a bit heavier in the rear and your wheels are wider so I don't know how those will affect anything.
But to answer your original question simply:
NO, at stock height you should have no problems at all. At least not with the diameter and contact patch. The width of wheel, I'm not sure.

You will rub. I had 215/50/16 and they rubbed like he'll when I didn't have my fenders rolled. Once I got it rolled I BARELY cleared them

I was recently searching wheels on Tire Rack for my '04 Civic coupe, from what I saw they had a caution note (due to rubbing) for 8'' wheels, not sure about 7.5 though, but yeah, it shouldn't really be an issue at stock ride height... unless you enjoy taking most corners rather quickly...
