5zigen: Good or Bad?

Stopped in at a local Discount Tire that was grand opening, and the salesman told me that he would meet or beat any price I bring in, except from eBay and such. I noticed that they could get 5zigen wheels, so I was wondering if anyone has opinions on the brand overall, or any particular wheel.

I am looking at...
5zigen Black Racing Pro-N1
5zigen Fn01r-c
5zigen Pro Racer Gn
5zigen RX-6

Enkei RPF1's are getting looked at also. I told him that I could get them for $800 delivered to my door. He said he could do that, with free mounting, balancing, and valve stems. I'd have to pay tax though, about $50. I might wave $700 in front of his face and see if he'll take that.

5zigen makes very quality rims. i would say their just a very small step behind volk/rays/spoon/mugen/work/etc prob good or better than racing hart/rh evo/tenzo/etc ?

No tires, just the wheels. I am supplying my own tires.

I got an email reply for prices on the Enkei RPF1, in silver, 15x7, 41mm offset, for $729 delivered. So the offer to Discount Tire might be possible...

If you can get a good deal on 5zigen wheels, you should pick up at set. I'd say get the nice wheels now, because if you get the enkeis or anything else, down the road you're gonna end up wanting something better.

I would be happy with these. Around 9 pounds each. I have a connection in Japan for some used ones, so I might entertain that idea also...

I am not counting out any 5zigen...

I have RX-6 (16X7) and they are good..... but I do avoid potholes and bumps best I can. Got them a little while back from discounttire, they were a little more pricey back then.
Some TSW's look nice, but they are heavy wheels.

if u getting those 9lb rims, u better live in a city with very well maintaned streets, if not buy a couple extra bcuz you are almost garunteed to bend those.

Ya 5zigen makes good quality rims but i dont now bout their exhaust they sound kinda raspy ...but all their other products are all good..

5zigen is quality stuff for sure, forget about the tsw (this coming from a guy with velox..haha...) i want 17" black racing in bronze..now thats the hot ****..
