wanli, i have s-1088 215.35.18 and ive drivin in hot florida weather from jacksonville to miami and i see hardly any treadware. great in rain. only downside is they are noisy. otherwise i paid only $370 and couldn't be happier. Wanli is branched under Yokohama

i got 2 nexens up front (i know getto) and the ride alright, from the shops that i've been too, they seem to be the hot sellers right now, for the price and quality, not loud at all so far, compared to my 711s and 712s....not bad under wet conditions too, also the shops i went to, dont even sell wanali's not sure why...oh and braking seems to be good too...
i have wanli s-1099 in 215/45/17 and its fine for cali weather. performs good enough for me to take deep turns, traction is great, idk about threadwear, works fine in rain as well, the only con is knowing its a cheap tire and im always thinking it could pop any second lol.
i just dont feel safe cheaping out on tires as you rely on them daily (mostly if its your only vehicle). btw, these tires came with the rims i bought for clearfication
