is it possible to re-surface a rim??

i have noticed on my rims that the lip has some places where it looks like kinda some of the material of the rims is peeling off? is there anyway to fix this besides purchasing new ones.

Get them powdercoated. That should fix the problem. You mean the clear coat is coming off? Can you warranty it? Or is it just from rock chips.

I don't know what powdercoating a rim would cost... you'd have to call around.

Primax wheels are notorious for doing that, I have a set on my other car and they are peeling really bad on the lip. You could always paint them yourself but no matter what type of paint you use it always looks terrible, my suggestion is to also have the rim powder coated. You then could have them a custom color.
