Motegi MR7 on 225/40/18 tires...
Sorry, but I couldn't find anything in the search...
Well anyways, my friend wants to sell me his Motegi MR7 on 225/40/18 tires... The rims are 18x7.5 with an offset of +45... Now I'm curious in if it would fit my 2001 Civic Si(Ex) Coupe... The wheels were off of an 1990 Nissan 240sx Coupe with H&R spacers 15mm front/20mm rear... Thanks in advance for replies!

Pull the spacers off, and change the tires... 225/40 is way too big. Other than that, you're alright... Motegis have the combo bolt pattern if I remember correctly.

So the tires are too wide right? Then would 215/35 be alright then?
225/40 is huge! 215/40 IMO is the best, because 35s suck for ride comfort. If you like the look go with 35s, if you still want to retain some ride comfort go with the 40s. You may have to roll your fenders if you have a 2" or lower drop with 215/40. It depends on the wheel offset too...

BTW I also have Ground Control coilovers, so I could adjust the height...

$137 apiece, but that is at cost. If you just go in and order them they're about $170...
Some people don't like the Parada, but I've had three sets of them (on different rims/cars), and IMO they can't be beat. Unless you want Michelins.
I've had 215/35/18 (Original Paradas), 225/40/18 (Spec-2), and 215/40/18. The 35s SUCKED for ride quality...You feel every little pebble in the road, it's basically like riding on rims.

Trust me, you'll have problems with 225/40/18s on Goldlines...
