OEM wheels from other makes
I'm thinking about putting OEM wheels from a mini cooper S on my civic. Should these fit? Would most 4X100 OEM wheels off a front wheel drive car fit? I'd also like to know about older RWD Bimmers, would wheels off an E30 or 2002 fit?

Offset is what matters. Discount tire is recommending the same offset for a Mini as for our cars, so they would fit... as for E30 wheels... forget it, the offset is in the 20s... they'd hang out like all hell. I hope you plan on getting different center caps...
Well ****...in the process of typing this... someone else beat me to it... if the MINI C-bore is 56, they're not going to fit cuz ours is 70 something... so you won't get the wheel on.

So the three numbers to look out for are bolt pattern, wheel offset, and center bore? I'd like to know a little more about center bore. Since the Civic has a center bore of 57.1 and the Mini has a center bore of 56, I couldn't fit Mini Wheels on a Civic, but I could fit Civic wheels on a Mini? Would I need hub rings to do this?
Is there a way to change the center bore on a set of wheels? Like bore it out?

Looks like it, and yes you would need Hub centering rings.
its probably possible, but then the question is, is it worth the extra $$?

couldn't you just find a set of rims that look similar?
