When you say raise the car, you mean that its dropped too far right? Not raise it like a 4x4?
I'd try wheelmax.com or whalentire.com

yeah, not like a 4x4. he lowered it and threw out his springs... he bought the car when he was living in san diego, and now that he's back here in worcester, these roads just don't cut it for a lowered car. the only solotion is some bigger rims... i'll check out those sites, thank you!! did my price sounds okay, to low or too high?

Well, if the roads are bad, big rims aren't going to help. You stand a greater chance of denting them if you hit a pot hole. How low is it and can anything be done to raise the car to something that is still lowered but not as much? And whats on the car now?
As far as price goes... I'm one of those people who think you get what you pay for.... and I don't know that $700 buys much unless you're not counting tires. $700 for just rims and you'll do ok, but if thats wheels and tires, that may be a little bit low.

ohhhhh, i see. well, i dont' know much about all this stuff. i know that he thew his springs out though, so not much can be done to raise it back up. it'll cost just as much for new springs and getting them back on as it will for rims. i think he's pretty adimant about getting new rims anyway, he knows all about this stuff, i was just trying to help him out. i am sick of listening about it really-haha. he's always complaining about something with that car...

hehe.... if he wants rims, its cuz he wants rims... there's no other reason but that. He's just looking for a better way to justify it.
Thats gotta be something all guys do... if it doesn't make sense to anyone else, make it make sense some other way.
