n00b question

will 17X7.5 rims clear civic fenders fine w/ 205 tires? Also, how many of you guys run this wheel size and what type of wheel? Thanks.

I have a 17X7 with a 205, no problems. with a 7.5, you may want to run a 215, More rubber on the ground = more traction.

they'll fit perfectly, i'm running 205/40/17x7.5. dont worry about rubbing!

215 on a lowered car = RUBBING. For a 17X7

17X7.5 w/ 205 - looks like it doesn't as per krayzie.

Go with 215 series tires for 17 X 7.5 wheels.

I have 215 size tire with a 17x7 rim and they fit great.

i have 18x7.5 rims with 215-35-18 and a drop with no rubbing. you live in the dallas dont you? maybe i see you at the meet this summer.

Depends on what offset you have! Check w/ the dealer/ manufacturer. You can have 7" wide wheels that will rub, if the offset from the center pushes one edge of the wheel/ tire too close to the fender/ the other side.
