Don't you already have that "Hmmmmm" thread going about what rims to get for your white Civic with a Bomex kit? You had some pretty good choices & Boilermaker threw out a few more on that thread...

Have you figured out whether you want a 17" 18" 19" ??
Still thinking about bronze as your main choice?

Help us out here

Volks are racing rims, not show rims... it's a waste of money to buy $450 wheels for the car to sit parked somewhere to look pretty. No use for forged rims when the car is standing still. There are plenty of more flashy rims for show cars that probably cost 1/3 the Volks and get the same effect. Would you honestly spend $2500 for a set of 17" TE37s if you knew the car was going to sit there (15 lb rims aren't going to help much when you're standing still)??? Or would you spend about $1100 for a set of Konig Rated R, and spend the other 1300 on something else? If I was playing the show game, I know what I would do. Very few times would I say go for knockoffs, but I think common sense applies here. So find the line for knockoffs... get some quality name brand that resembles the big name like a Konig or RH Evo, and skip the crap wheels that are knocking off the knockoffs. They're gonna look the same standing still, so the physics of why the real thing is better while you're moving doesn't matter.

.... That having been said... I love Volks.... not because they look cool (which they do), but because they're strong and light as hell.

buy some 20s and a rail track.

I had 18s on 01s, looked good. I am thinking about getting 18s again. 19s is just too risky.
