Question Balance rims after the winter?

Hey...Do all u guys have ur rims balanced after the winter..
is it necessary...?or can u just throw em on and roll?

i go to a pretty ghetto tire shop and dont want the guy hammering my rims with
those balance clips...

You shouldn't have to balance them if they're already done before the winter started.

i wouldnt so much balence them, cause they should be cool still. how ever i would recomend a allignment. If you hit any pot holes in the winter ect....it might have wacked everything out of place.

ehhh just glue some 2 pound metal pieces to the wheels ,, and all will be ok ,, heheheh,,,

do what bhaz413 said ,, do an allignment ,

You can check u're alignment yourself before getting it done. Just drive and let the car coast on flat road and see if it drifts or wobbles and such..

Balancing should be done every 4-5k miles, unless you hit some kinda pothole or banged up the curb, you shouldn't waste your monies on an alignment.

I'm not sure about your tires, but I get free balancing and rotating of my tires for the whole life of the tires. You may need to get them balanced, but I'd definately get an alignment.
