Hyperblack is one of the many terms for gunmetal. In sunlight it'll look dark grey, out of light, it'll be essentially black.

That's completely wrong!!! Gunmetal is darker than Hyperblack, and doesn't shine nearly as much. Hyperblack has a crazy shine to it, so much that in some lighting conditions, it almost looks silver.

See, this is hyperblack:

Hyperblack looks as if it was painted in silver then coated with a transparent black paint, to give it sort of a black hue depending on which way the wheel is viewed. It does'nt make the wheel look dark but more shiny.

Some hyperblack wheels look different than others, but for the most part take chrome and tint it. Thats what you get, a black chrome. Looks bad as s Gunmetal however is just a dark silver paint
