racing tires on Si rims
hey ppl, what's a good size drag radial/street racing tire to put on my 2000 Si rims? the rims are 15's. i was thinking of the nitto 555R the available sizes from the site are 275/60/15 and 275/50/15... so which is better? mucho thanx...
The 275mm monsters that you mentioned are made to go on the back of rear wheel drive cars with rims that are 7" to 9" wide. I think Nitto has one more available size in 15" made for front drivers: 205/45-R15 in the NT-555R. That size is on the Nitto web site although i didn't notice it at Discount Tire.
If you don't go with that, then BFG has the new G-Force drag radials in 205/50-15 & 225/50-15 size for front drives (See Tire Rack web site if you want to look at pictures or specs)
