Hubcentric rings

Hey i was just wondering what Hubcentric rings are for? (not sure if i spelled it right) They came with my set of rims and i was wondering how to install them and what they do. I heard they go behind the rim and help to reduce sound n vibrations.

they help reduce vibrations by centering the wheel on the hub. without it, your basically trying to center the wheels with the lug nuts which is hard to do. and any slight off-centered mount will cause vibrations in the steering wheel..

It should be obvious where they go, just look at the back of the wheel & you should be able to figure it out.
