is my caliper screwed up?

Yesterday, I replaced my front pads for inspection and noticed that on both sides, the lower caliper bolt isnt really engaged or disengaged with the threads on the caliper housing. The top bolt, however, came right out without any problems. I got the pads replaced fine because i just rotated the caliper on the bottom bolt to access the pads and piston. But what if I want to or need to remove my caliper? Is there a special honda trick??

solar is an unknown quantity at this point
The bolt should come out, and there are no specail tools or secerts for this, it should just come out. Its possible that the bolt was loose but just stuck in the rubber dust boot that surrounds the bolt. I hope it tightened back up, because if it didn't its probably still loose, and thats a bad thing. Or its possible its just stripped out, is this the first time you replaced the pads? Maybe it was stripped out in the factory. I'd make sure that bolt is tight ASAP.
