5zign Copse and Tires

I am going to purchase new wheels and tires within the next week or so. Unfortunatly, nobody sells the rim AND tire package that I want. I am looking to buy either the silver or white 5zigen Copse rims and I want to wrapemup in either Flaken ZE-512s or Pirelli P7000 supersports. I have a blue civic, and suggestions on the color of rim would be great. White or Silver?

Does anybody have pics of their civic with the Copse rims?

The best price I can find on the tires I want is 96 bucks a piece from whalentire.com and 131 a piece on the Pirellis at discountiredirect.com I NEED to roll in a 215/45/17 due to all the potholes and crappy roads here in WA. I like the Falken ZE-512s because they have some protection built into the tire for the rims, but I have always had great experiences with Pirellis. I ran the p6000 on my prior car and I love the tire.

As of now, it looks like the rim purchase is goint to be done at wheelmax and the tire purchase is going to be done at either discount or whalen, depending on who can give me the best price.

Suggestions?

Silver... the white would make it look like a piece of "candy"

why the 512's?? i'd recommend the FK-451's.. the 512's are only A rated whereas the 451's are AA rated...

Don't they make those rims in gunmetal? I'd get it in gunmetal. But if your restricted to white or silver, I'd go silver.

Inos,

Your definatly right about the traction rating, I will do some more research on the tire to see what I can come up with. Any more suggestioins on the color of the rim? It looks like silver is the most popular so far.

Hey dude at wheelmax.com they have the copse rims and have wheel package, $1099 (205/40/17), $1150
(215/45/17), $1399 (225/40/18) or (215/35/18), $1450 (235/40/18). They have them in silver, white and hyperblack. Not sure what size you want but you can ask them for a certain type of tire with the copse and theyll try and give you a good price a friend of mine did this. Also theres is a limited time free shipping warranty thought this would help nice choice of rims

Good choice. blue and the hypersilver look good together in my opinion, but the silver is a clean choice too. Just wanted to warn you that beware of the 215/45 tires if you have your car pretty low. The tires will rub against the fender, and even if you roll the fender, you may still rub if you have subs are alot of passengers in the car. This rubbing won't really occur unless you have good camber.
