I've only bought stuff from them once, but the service was great. The guy I talked to was nice and knew what he was talking about. I ordered on a monday night, they said the rims would be here friday or saturday, but they were here thursday. One thing I have heard is that they are not very accurate on balancing rims. If you're going to spend that much money though, I'd go with a higher brand. I believe you will be happier with the quality. Also, I believe shipping is still free.
As you know, most of the exels are just copies of other more expensive brands ( i believe the ones u are lookin at are like the rojas). However, i am guessin that u are more looks-oriented. I myself am curious about what could go wrong with buyin cheaper wheels...
i ordered wheels from them and got jacked around....they tried to charge me twice for one set and ended up sending me the wrong color.
dont trust em. take my word for it. there are other places that sell affordable rims with free shipping.

Nothing and no one is perfect. I think that they are a fairly good company. I also received my rims a day earlier than scheduled and received great service from their staff. I didn't receive locks for my rims though but it was any easy way to get around that. They are a good company IMO and I'd order from them again.
I ordered 18" Exel H-50 wheels from WheelMax & those wheels are the exact same wheel as the Racing Hart Z5000. The only difference is the name on the centercap, both wheels are made on the exact same assembly line. You're paying more for a NAME, not quality. If you think Racing Hart wheels are good quality then Exel wheels are just as good of quality.

The rims are not replicas, they are made in the same exact factories as other companies, such as katana. I'm pretty happy w/ mine. I have TZ-10's in gunmetal, 17". They weigh like 18 lbs, which is pretty light.
Wheelmax's service is pretty good, but they're bad at balancing. Ask them to just mount it and not balance it. Double check on your order, to make sure you're not getting the wrong brand or color. Mine went smoothly, but some ppl had stories of getting the wrong rims. Get hub centering rings, as they forgot to tell me that I needed them. Customer service was pretty decent, all in all.

I had a horrible experience with Wheelmax. My shipment was five days later than anticipated. This was to ship from Miami to Tampa! I could have driven down and got the rims in 3 and 1/2 hours, yet I head to wait a week. The thing that frustrated me was that they lied about when they shipped the package.
On my second call, they stated that the tires were out of stock, which they never mentioned when I placed my order. On a subsequent call, they actually gave me a bogus UPS tracking number. I found this out when I logged onto ups.com and also the number was completely different when I finally got the shipment. I finally spoke to the head guy and he stated that he really didn't care whether he lost my business or not...
Once the rims came, they were supposed to have decals with the name on one of the spokes. One of the rims was missing two letters! This didn't matter to me b/c I was gonna take 'em off anyway, but to some customers, it could have been a big deal... not very professional.
This was just my experience with the company. They are cheap, but I would be wary of ordering from them again. The only way that I would deal with them would be to visit their location in Miami.
