Best treadware for 18 inch tires

Does anyone know who makes the best treadware rating for 18 inch tires. Either sizes 215/35/18 or 225/40/18. I know Michelin make Pilot Sport A/S with a rating of 400. But each tire is like $220. Just want to know if anyone knows a cheaper tire with a high treadware rating.

1st off........go 40 series.....you will not like 35......it gets anoying........
and not sure about tread wear.....don't get dunlop w sports......they didn't last me 10,000 mi.
My yok paradas have lasted almost 20,000......probably got 5,000 at least left on them.....
I would strongly recomend em.....they're cheap too

you hate your 215-35s? i hate my 215-40s.. too big for 18s IMO. i have the falken 512s.. 30k mile warranty from the place i bought it from and i think falken offers a 50k mile warranty. i personally dont like the yoko tread design... my falkens dont look as nice as the 451 but hey they last long..

Shieeet.....I'll trade you your 40's for my 35's........
They're just too thin.....I've had 3 sets of 40 series and loved them......
Then I got the 215/35/18 because it was the most popular for 18's.......
I dunno, 40 just gives you a bit more rubber/protection.

ya thats why i bought 40s cause i figured a bigger tire is better then a bent rim.. i just hate the fact that my car doesnt look dropped at all(i have neuspeed sports).. wish i would have gone with a 215-35-18 neuspeed race setup.. ya i would like to trade but mount/balance, shipping, different tread wear... i think it would be better to just buy new tires. but even then its what $600 so i just live with it.
