Ok, I'm in the market for some new rims. I've been looking at a set of Racing Hart CR Evos, but I wanna know about these other rims. They're MOMO Tuners in 17x8. Is that too big for our wheel well? I don't wanna look like a beaner with tires sticking out of the well. And I've been told not to go bigger than 215 on tires with our car, so would that fully cover an eight inch rim? And finally, how do you like them? MOMO

Some of it will be dependent on the offset of the rim. It may end up sticking out. I guess you're planning on matching the spoke insert to your car, right? It should look cool while you're moving, but not too fast. Those are heafty rims... over 30 pounds a piece, and will slow you down quite a bit, but they're nice for show. MOMO makes nice rims style-wise, but they don't excel in the weight department.
BTW: Tire rack recommends 225 tires for 8 inch rims. It doesn't mean you can't put 215's on, but you'll lose some lip protection with the thinner tire.

you should be able to fit 215 tires on them.. tire rack recommends 225? thats weird, 225 might be a little too wide. and i hope your not getting them for 300 a peice cause that is just way too much. i personally dont like how they look either.
