best 18" tire size.
i want the tire size that will give me the best ride and NO rubbing. i was thinking the 35 series but someone told methat 40 are better and still don't rub. we have a lot of pothole so i want a tire that will keep it form bending the rim. mabybe the 40 is the best choice?i'm at stock height now but i do paln in lowering 1.5 in with skunk2 coilovers and a front and rear ingalls camber.
Humm I am thinking of 18" rims myself right now or 17" but if I was to get the 18" I would get 215/40 so I wouldn't bend a rim or something since I would be driving daily. But with lowering I dunno

eh 215-40-18 is a little too thick for me. i have that with neuspeed sports, my car looks stock height with 1 finger gap... looks way too high, 40 is too thick for 18s. but then i guess a thick sidewall is better then a bent rim.. either way next time i'm going with 35 series cause 40 is just too thick. see my members page for pictures...
