I know a lot of guys that have American "Torque Thrust" wheels on their US cars who are happy, but no import users of their wheels. This company has been around a loooong time (over 40 years), so if you like their designs, their quality should not be much of a problem.

Just my opinion -- anyone else?

american racing is a good company, but there are better choices on wheels. if you like thier style and thier price, check out some motegi racing wheels, motegiracing.com, they are the same company and motegi has more of a race look to them. just my opinion.

They're good rims, but not for import cars. There are conflicting tastes. When I buy my project car (will be American) its gonna have ARs on it. My neighbor has 16" ARs on his 67 Mustang, and it looks good. But would you put Spoon parts on a Mustang? I hope not. Make sure your styles match when building a car.

yep, and usually AR rims are gonna be really really wide, for high-powered RWD cars, not very useful for most imports.

AR wheels are decent for Domestics, heavy? Yes as all hell. Some of their styles are decent IMO but I'd would stay away from AR..
