AEM rear rotor switch
AEM rear disc switch
If i were to buy the rear drum to disc conversion kit from AEM, could i (after instalation) switch to a rotor from a different company (like wilwood for instance) or would i be stuck with rear aem rortors ?

you should be able to switch to any different rotor (as long as it was the same diamter and thickness, or else you'd have to make some adjustments. it would also have to be the same bolt pattern, etc) just fine...that is, if/when AEM has the rear-disc brake conversion kit out for our cars.

well, it depends on how the rear disc conversion is done, how the disc mounts on the rear, etc. if you used the AEM brake upgrade kit when it comes out, you could ask them if the front and rear rotors would be interchangeable., then you could swap any rotor most likely with the AEM ones in the rear.

"ok sweet , just one more question would rotors ment for the front, be able to fit the back?? "
For brake balancing purposes, you'll want the rear rotors to be smaller than the front ones. You'll probably want the rears to be about 1" smaller than the fronts.

from what I've read, in a car like ours... you will probably get better results swapping for better, bigger disc brake rotors on the front than do a rear drum to disc conversion...
most of the stopping comes from the front disc brake... and a new brake system will do wonders! (ie: 4 piston calipers and the likes)
I remember seeing this brand of brake kit from er.. willson or something. heh. seems like its pretty cheap on the wallet. (well, as cheap as 800 bucks can be?)
