When i got my wheels it had a piece of paper that said how to care for my wheels. It said not to put any really stong wheel cleaners and stuff on them and to put wax on the wheels for protection and shine. Put some car wax on them and see what it does. It can't hurt anything.

I have heard wax, and i used it on my chroms rims before and it worked sorta better than it was before i waxed them, i was at mcdonalds and it was raining, well i tried to get as close to the window as possible well nevertheless i banked my rim on the curb, and i couldnt turn the wheel because it was against it, -| like that, well i had to drive straight then turn, lemme tell ya, everyone at mcdonalds cried, including me.

Wax is an excellent way to keep the crap off your rims...do it once in a while though...as for fixing any scratches, go to the auto store and try and get touch up color to match your rims...I have gunmetal rims, so it was a pretty easy color to match. Just scrape a lil paint (if painted) off the back of your rims and carry it with ya on a white piece of paper so you can match it easier...
