Firestones FR 690s

Bridgestone/Firestone has finally updated its online catalog. It looks like the FR 690 is a special tire which is only made as original equipment for the Civic. A variety of replacements are recommended among them the FR 680. I noticed though that the 680 was not offered with a mileage warranty when installed on a Civic. Does anyone know why this is? Also, if you were to replace the 690s with a general purpose Firestone would you go with the 680?

I like Michelin tires the best. They are great high-quality tires.
