Post unusual wheel sizes...

Please post unusual tire sizes. Something that's a larger diameter and width than stock (use the Tire Calc to make sure). Something that you're actually running on and something that gives you no problems at all. It can be lowered or not lowered, just mention which.

215.35.19 is pretty close, 225.30.19 is even closer, i dont think thats a real size though. with both sizes drivability is near zero, its off the trailer, on the trailer

Hey guys,

I just bought a pair of Yokahama Tires 245/45/17. They rub when I hit a bump going fast. What kind of damage may incurre while having this happen over time. I have this set of tires in the back. I have Yokahama Tires 215/45/17 in the front. The car seems to handle well b/c of the front tires. The ride is more comfortable b/c of the back tires. I gained a small bounce tough in the back as well as more roll due to the crossection of the 245/45/17's.

215/45/17 toyo proxies. Too much negative camber on the rears, and my H&R springs are sagging on the rears so I'd estimate a 2.5" drop. They rub like hell on bumps and my fenders have little dents from my tires hitting the frame when i hit bumps. Any recommendations guys?

225 50 16 Yokohama A520's w/ 1.75" lower. had to dremel a quarter inch in on the rear fenders inside. And I rub turning hard and fast. I am changing my suspension to Skunk2 coilovers to remedy this problem. I have godline lowering springs now.

I just saw my first pair(i was parked right next to it)
355/35/24
I was talking to the guy, his wheels add about a 1000 lbs to his ride(denali). I was sitting in my car and I could barely see over the tire.

I have 205/50/16 and they are fine.

currently running 205/50/15 Potenza's (speedo is way off), probably switching to either 215/45/15's (will send speedo even more off, almost 2" smaller in diameter than stock) or to 225/50/15's (with rolled rear fenders on H&R springs). Most likely to 225/50 because many many more tire options.

215/45R17 - very close in diameter, plus they aren't so thin that you have to steer around every pothole.

I was running 235/40ZR17 on my civic.(YES 235) with ground controls and a 2 inch drop. now before every one goes on saying that a 235/40 is much too tall. A 235/40 is actually a little bit shorter than the stock size on an EX. And the width is not impossible I had 17x7.5 wheels with a 45mm offset. hope this helps.
