7th gen civic trailing arm swap??? [rear disc brake conversion - solved]
looking to put rear disk brakes on my 7th gen ex.
I hear i need new trailing arms, idk, but i don't know what trailing arms are compatible for the 7th gen. i got a 2004 ex and all i see online is like the 90-00 civics swap the arms from a integra of similar year but is that the same for the 7th gen.
essentially does anyone know if i can use the same trailing arms as the 6th gen or if i even need to do this for the 7th gen. just a little confused.

If you want to do a rear disk swap, EP3 rear knuckle assemblies will bolt up. I think the 2002 EP3 is the only one that'll retain the same bolt pattern.
if I recall correctly, you only need the EP3 knuckle assemblies and DC5 e-brake cables (they're a hair short, but opening the brackets and taking out all the slack will be enough to reach the ebrake assembly).
I thought I posted and I was searching for this thread, but I guess I didn't. Here's a guide to do a rear disc conversion on the 7thgen

I personally did the swap on my 2002 EX coupe. Used 2002 EP3 rear knuckle assemblies (came with all the brake lines and everything) and RSX e-brake cables. The VSS on the knunckle assemblies I bought were cut, so I took a chance and popped in my OEM EM2 ones, and they did just fine.
