Tire and wheel advice needed!
Tire and wheel advice needed!
Hi, I hope you all are well.
I drive a 2005 Honda Civic EX Special Edition sedan (for sale! PM me!).
I currently have the stock 15" wheels, and am running on Kuhmo tires. The tires seem noisy (hopefully its the tires, but my car has 152k, so I'm hoping its nothing else), so I'm looking for the most quiet tire option out there, which hopefully I won't need til 2014.
IF I am blessed with enough extra cash to spring for the 18" Sparco Assetto Gara wheels I long for, I still will want the most quiet tires... any advice is welcome...
Thank you!

Think.. Did the noise just become louder or did u first notice it when the Kumhos were first installed?
Most importantly make sure you're using the correct sized tire for your particular car. Tire width, thickness and tread design can be a factor. Read reviews on tirerack and then check to see if any local tire shop in your area are running specials on them or can match the cheapest price you find.
I recently purchased some Kumho Ectsa 4x for my fiance's Honda Fit and picked them for their road noise rating and ride comfort. I made my decision based on reviewers which owned the same model car. Reviews are all based on a someones perception of the tire so also keep that in mind when making your choice.
