Re: Wheel Guide

First time poster, so please be understanding....
'04 Civic EX, have a set of 215X55X15's available. I've had these tires standing side by side with the std 195's and they are approx 3/8" or so larger in dia & width...the question is will they fit???
Thanks
Gerry

Re: Wheel Guide

Will they fit on the rim? How wide is your rim? Look up the specs of the tire and see what the narrowest rim they recommend mounting it on (it's usually a range). Higher sidewall height will just throw your speedo off some.

Re: Wheel Guide

Depends on what rim you have.
Stock rims will pinch the tires since they're not wide enough for 215's.
You'll look like you're running SUV wheels.

Re: Wheel Guide

The pdf doesn't seperate the RSX (base vs type-s) I believe it only shows the type-s since the 05-06 base specs are 16x6.5 +45 cast weight?

So if I have 15x8 wheels, then I should be able to fit them under my 2002 Civic sedan (stock) without any problems, correct?
