Is there a way to tell what size brake shoe I have without actually taking out my shoe and measuring it? It's a 2005 Civic EX. I've never replaced a shoe before, and being told that I need to know the correct size to buy.

No need to know the size. You just the parts guy at your local auto store the make and model of your car and he will get you the part

Do you REALLY need rear shoes? They last for the life of the car for most people in my area. Easily outlast 5 sets of front brakes or more.

Aftermarkets won't normally last near as long as factory.

you dont buy shoes by the "size."

it needs to be taylored and made specific to your civic...and it'll say it on the description.

i have brand new factory honda/OEM rear shoes for sale if u are interested.

i bought them, but never installed them since i installed rear disc brakes.
