Picked up some new wheels
Just orderd these today. What do you guys think. I'll post up some pic's when they arrive and i get them installed. I know people post stuff like this everyday and it probably gets boring, but hey im excited about them.

I orderd 17". My car is shoreline mist metallic. I had a previous set of black rims, 5 spoke, with a chrome lip that looked good i thought. Went a little bit of a different direction with these but couldnt get away from the black wheels though.

i got the same color car. I am trying to decided what color rims i should get because its kind of a weird color for a car. Bought a full lip kit about two months ago and there sitting in my basement. It was warm yesterday so i decided to buy paint and a new front bumper since mine need replacement. but iam thinking of these two right now but i might just go for something completely different like a black as well since thats what i have right now.

Those are both nice but i think i favor the first one. It's still got the black in it. LOL! Yeah are car color is kinda weird, from what i've heard it was used the least,i dont see many others. It's hard to find paint for, duplicolor dosent make it, so i went to my local PPG auto paint store and they said they could mix up a can for about $20. Whered you get your paint?

from http://www.automotivetouchup.com/ i have seen some paint jobs some of the members have done with this paint and looks good and yea i like the first one better than the second one but still thinking about buying them been at the check out page for about 3 hours already i dont know if its kind of irresponsible to buy new rims right now but the wifey oked it.

So Fedex sucks. They say my rims are deliverd but they sure didnt deliver them to my house. Apparently they dropped them at the wrong address and will track them down. Yeah that was like three hours ago.
Ok as i was typing this they called, they found them, driver was aware of his mistake and is on his way to pick them up from the wrong house and bring them to me. Whew! I was going to be ill. This happens every time we get something shipped from them. We lost out on a Wii fit board a few months back when it went to the wrong place. Ok enough ranting.

Well finally got them. Got them all installed an noticed right front was flat. I put air in it and i can hear a leak, like the tire was'nt mounted corectly to the rim. Always something.
NICE! but where did you get the lip kit from? ive been looking but cant seem to find one

Yeah ebay. They are all over it. I use to have the ABS palstic version but it got broke and cracked, so this one is polyurethane. So far i like it alot better.

No it comes the standard black. Since it is polyurethane it is a bit more labor intensive to paint than ABS plastic. PU doesn't like to hold paint as well so you have sand it, then prime it with a bonding primer to help with adhesion, then do your final coats and i say coats because you may need to wet sand in between coats. Then finally hit it with a nice clear top coat. All in all to do it right you should really take your time and let each coat cure a full day. Or you can just get plastic.LOL! It is just more likely to crack if you hit something.
