16" HFP SS7 Wheels - Anyone got picture of them on their car?
Hey sup,
Can you guys please post pictures of how your civic looks like from the side with the 16" HFP SS7 wheels. I want to buy them for my civic but Im not too sure because they are 16"s. I dont know if i have to drop the car because there maybe a big wheel gap. I was hoping for 17"s. Thanks very much in advance for your time and help.

well, it really doesn't matter what rim size you get that'll affect wheel gap. Unless you don't car about performance (i.e. form over function = not so good idea) you should get a rim that is pretty much the same overall diameter as your OEM tire. Sure, it may make the rim "look" smaller than it really is, but if you go with a smaller sidewall, it'll give you a crappier ride, and it'll mess with your speedometer more
And if you wanna lower your car, it's REALLY easy to do. That was the first mod I did on my car, and it took an inexperienced 17 year old me with my inexperienced 15 year old friend 4 hours in my driveway with a hydraulic jack, jack stands, a socket set and a breaker bar.

Im thinking about 16"s HFP SS7 with 1.25" drop or 17"s after market wheels with no drop. I currently still have the factory suspension setup. Im thinking about rota torque in either gunmetal or black or black with red stripe if I go aftermarket wheels. Do you know if there are any aftermarket wheels that are similar to the type r?

Just out of curiosity, why would you drop if you got 16's, but not if you got 17's?
I had my car dropped 1.3/1.4" f/r with 17's and I thought it looked great

I just figured that since the wheels are 1" bigger I dont have to drop it to compensate for it being 1" less on the 16"s.

but the overall diameter of the tire would pretty much stay the same, so the wheel gap wouldn't change. That's why I'm wondering.

Thank you everyone for all the pics and replies. It seems like the better look for my ep3 are the 16" hfp ss7. I may paint them white. I may not be able to achieve such a great look with aftermarket wheels compare to these hfps.
