I'm in the market of purchasing New rims and tires so far I have come up with a couple ideas. I'm kind of new to aftermarket rims and have a few questions...

Most of the rims I have looked at have more then just the 4 holes for the lugs is this because its a universal fit? If so should I stay away from rims like these?

Lug conversion kit? When do I know when I would need to buy one and if anyone knows a rough estimate on them that would be great.

2004 Honda Civic Si

- Akita Racing AK90
Painted Black

- Primax 925
Painted Chomium Black

- XXR 962
Painted Gun Metal

- Drag DR11
Gun Metal

All of these rims are 17inch and say they fit my model but like I say they have more then just the 4 lug holes will I need a lug conversion kit for these?

universal rims are fine just be sure they fit your lug patern thats all.

find a rim that's in a 4x100 bolt pattern.

4x100 means 4 lug pattern, 100mm between lugs (measuring opposite holes, not adjacent)

and someone correct me if i'm wrong, but you want an offset of +42 (may show up as ET+42)

Alright so from what I can see most of these rims show 4x100 so I should be ok. The offsets match up so I'm good there as well, I think I'm going to go with the Drag DR-11, Ebay.ca is selling them for 304.99 for the 4 thats 200 cheaper then any other website I have seen so far.
