Re: 18" on a 2001 civic ?

i've had my 18s on for 4 yrs now. no fender rolling or nothing. i run 215-40s and love em. I was lowered on a prokit for 2 yrs but now im back to stock. when i was lowered no problems tho. The only thing u will hate is havin to buy tires, they are expensive

I 2nd the tire thing, anyways yeah, no problem if you go with a 215/40/18, though I'm on a stock suspension. Also, the rims are on a 2002 Civic Coupe, I don't know if that makes a difference, but yeah

I've been running 18s for 2 years no problems. 19s is the most you can go with minor adjustments, after that it's cutting.

As for modifications you don't need anything.....remove old wheel, put new wheel on, simple as that. Just make sure the rolling diameter of your new wheel/tire setup is the same as the one that came off or your speedometer and odometer will not read right.
