can someone please tell me the thread pitch for the wheel studs on our cars?
I need adapters to fit my new GT3s around my huge *** Wilwood calipers and they offer a 1.25 or a 1.5 pitch on the wheel stud thread and I am cluless

Re: Thread pitch
lol, thanks alot guys I appreciate the quick response. I'll post up pics in a new thread once I get them on.
Another question though..... The rims have a 40mm offset I need about a half inch to clear the brakes. I was thinking 25mm adapters in the front and 20mm in the back. The back rims seem like they are more flush than the front, is it just me? Give me your input....

Re: Thread pitch
You mean, they're more flush in relation to the bodywork?
You bring up an interesting point. If it was me, I'd want to be completely sure, and there's only one way I can think of to do that. You'd need some blocks, and a laser spaced a known distance from the hub on the rear hub, and then mark where it hits the piece of wood on the front hub, then compare the two.

Re: Thread pitch
yeah, I mean the rear wheels (mostly because of the camber difference i'm sure) seem to be more flush with the wheel well than the front.
This isn't the best pic. to try to show what I mean but you can definately tell what i'm saying about the back. The front seems a little worse with my bump kit but you can't even tell in this pic since the wheel is turned slightly. The wheels in the pic. are 40mm offset as well so that is pretty much how they will sit in the rear.

Re: Thread pitch
If you're talking about clearance for brakes, why does it matter? I just realized that. If it's cosmetic only, that is. You've got big brakes up front and need 25mm spacers, that much is sure. But the back... I don't know for sure, because you haven't said, but I'm assuming you don't have 4-pot calipers on your rear rotors. That'd just be dumb. So it's a safe assumption that 20mm spacers would work just fine for looks. How that would affect the suspension performance, however... I'd PM a suspension Mod if I were you. That's beyond my realm.
Re: Thread pitch
well I just didn't want to knock out the front wheels and have them hanging out further than the back wheels ya know. I have stock rear brakes, but once the front wheels get moved out a little it's going to become a cosmetic issue you see?
