I plan on getting some rims soon..Sportmax 962's HyperBlack to be exact and am trying to find out whether to go with 17x7 (40mm offset) or 17x9 (35mm). I read the FAQ and am trying to get ur guys opinion...which one should I go for? my bro told me that the lower the offset, the more the rim will stick out...let me know guys...thanks!

17X9? Damn thats a big rim and yes your brother is correct. I'd go with 17X 7 (40mm offset). Good luck post pics when your done.

man forget it....i wanted these motegi's i found on ebay a while ago right. they were all black..kind of a matte flat black. they lookd so nice. 4 lug and they wanted 500 for all 4 with no tires. that was months ago..i was jus roaming around my favorites in my browser and i clickd that link and the price dropped to 340$ !!! i was planning on clikcing buy it now right then. but then i noticed it says 5x100 at the top..wtf..they were 4 lug a minute ago. even the picture of them is of a 4 lug universal wheel. so icontacted the ebay seller and he said motegi doesnt make them anymore and they only have the 5 lug...so now im bummed out and cant decide wat to get now. i was thinking some all black rota circuits 10s but...i duno anymore..im shut down.

ok somebody please tell me that the wheel in that picture is a 5 lug. if they were 4 lug..should i have gotten them. i think they look so nice but maybe thats just me.
