tire question
im getting 17's soon and the tires they offer are 205/40/17. using the calculator, it says it is 3.25% too fast. i dunno what that means, but should i stick w/ it or get a new size. thanks

Actually its more like 4.1% too fast, so when your speedometer reads 60 mph in your car, your actually going like 57.5 mph, so in reality, you could go 62.5 mph on your speedometer and actually be going 60 mph.

i have a 2002 civic ex with 18" motegi mr7's on dunlop sp sport fm 901's (215/40/zr18) and i did the calculator thing and it said my speedo was 1.262% too slow... and i've been having problems hitting some top speeds... on my stock 15's and my enkei 16's i used to have, i could hit 200 km/h easy... but now with these rims, the fastest i got up to i'd say was 185 km/h, and with the percentage, that puts me at 188 km/h... any reason why i'm not hittin 200??? is it because the rims are so heavy??? sorry that i kinda went OT here but has just been buggin me for a long while... lol
