HELP appreciated

Still new to my car and have a good amount of knowledge but I have a problem.

The front passenger side wheel of my car is making a sreeching noise. At first, I thought I was dragging something under the area of wheel. I checked and there was nothing dragging. So, would it be my brakes being worn out? I've had the car since 2004, sept and the brakes are still stock. So, good idea to change brake pads or would it be something else?

thanks in advance.

If it is your wear indicators more than likely it won't be a constant noise. Also it will make a different noise in reverse than in drive.

after a while, the brake indicator WILL be a constant noise.

Yeah, it makes the noise when I'm driving and also does when i'm reversing but goes away when I brake... So, with that further knowledge, would you guys still think it's the indicator?

Yeah, that sounds like what my car was doing until I changed the brake pads. constant screeching until I pressed on the brakes.
