I currently have 3 wheels that have +40mm offset but i needed to buy 1 more but they no longer make 40mm offsets so should i buy a wheel thats +38mm offset with a 2mm spacer or get a +45mm offset with a 5mm spacer? i'm not sure which one thanks alot

You're gonna have to buy at least 2 new ones. You can't mix and match offsets with spacers. Better yet, buy 4 new ones. Mixing and matching is dangerous... the offset effects the car's track, and you want it to be the same all the way around. Using spacers is pretty dangerous anyways.... if you have to use them, you didn't size the wheels right.

i see i see no this is the story i bought 4 black racing wheels off of my friend for 100 dollars all good condition except 1 was cracked so i just rather buy a new one but they dont' make +40mm offset anymore so i was wondering if getting a 38 offset plus a 2mm spacer is better or a 45 offset with a 5mm spacer because no matter what i will be getting one of those i just want to knwo which one is bettter but thanks

You can't do it. I don't know how to make it any clearer. The offset doesn't effect just the back spacing, it effects the design and structure of the rest of the rim. It will never balance side to side on the car. You need at least 2.
