ok, got my rims comin...

i got rota slipstream 15x7s comin in the mail right now. be at my house on the 11th. here is the big thing. ive been looking for a tire. im thinking the khumo ecsta 711. 215/50/15. i hear this is a hard tire, and you feel the road, with good grip. anyone hear anything else about these? someone let me know. OR list an alternative choice in the SAME size of 215/50/15. this tire size should be ok for me. if you disagree let me know. thanx!

I have those exact tires and size majin. They are ok for street tires I guess, but if you plan on having turbo or nitrous, they won't stick if you get on it, they just spin and chunk rubber. I know that $48 price per tire is tempting, but I would never buy them again.

I put my vote in for 225/50R15. Closer to stock, and more options as far as tires go. Hell there's even competition slicks in that size.

Older ***-Hoe tires suck, I have the top of the line at the time ASX and they suck in all weather, but wear well. I recommend Falken FK 451s, best tires Ive ever ran.

i have those too. kumho asx all season, and i love them. my friend used to have them on his teg to. I ran his car with the kumho tires on it and pulled a 1.9 60', which is damn good for some high treadwear all seasons. and they last forever

I have the ASX right now...they last a long time which is a good thing for me because I drive too much. Gonna be getting the Kuhmo SPT soon...maybe even today. My fronts are gone.
