Mounting on 6.5" as oppose to 7"

Mounting on 6.5" as oppose to 7"

Wondering if I mount a 205/55 tire on a 6.5" wide wheel will yield any differences as oppose to mounting it on a 7" wide wheel.

6.5" would bulge slightly?

Just torn between two wheels and wondering if there's any sort of difference performance wise.

Wider is always better as long as it fits.

7" would be better and can/will change the handling characteristics.... for example, the 350Z received a slightly wider wheel but same tire size for MY06. From reviews, the handling is seems more stable and less twitchy. The CIvic is no 350Z but going to 7" doesnt really have any negative points.
