Question What'S a good offset for wheels???

I want the 5zigen wheels 18'' and want to run them with 215/40 series tires.
I have a 2001 coupe droped real low with tein ss and camber kit.
Will I have any problems with these wheels.......the offset is +43 ????? I have no idea how the offset works........ I can't grasp the whole thing????
