I almost got some, liked their looks... but the weight of them compared to others was quite alot.

The other thing was a guy in the wheel/tire business that told me to stay away from "universal" rims (ones with holes to fit multiple combos of lugs) - that they aren't as true and centered as rims specifically machined for one size.

Then, to totally turn me off was the fact that they started selling them at Sears.

As a pitch to TireRack.com - they shipped fast, wheels were perfectly balanced and the site has a decent simulator that lets you see how a set will look.

Universal fit rims are fine it is true they don't fit as tight, but that is what hub sentering rings are for... to eliminate any gap.
