Just got some Enkei wheels...

17x7 Enkei J10's. Pic is below. I'm thinking of going with either Falken Ziex ZE-512

205/45 -17 or the 215/45 -17

Has anyone had any experience with these? Of perhaps know of a similar tire? Any help is appreciated.

falken 512s are great tires for the price. but my words speak from various online reviews off public forums. however, i did hear they arent the best in snow...

i had 215/45/17 on some 7.5" wide rims before... it would rub easily on the front, but the rear was perfectly fine as long i set my camber a little negative. if your going to drop more than 2"... id stay away from the 215 and go with the 205. my solution was to go 205/45/17 front and 215/45/17 rear... but i never got to it since i went with different 17s and traded.

Eh... probably won't drop it at all. Been there, done that. No biggie. I just want to make sure the speedo won't be too far off. I don't have to worry too much about snow here either being in Houston.

JCiv03 is on a distinguished road
I'd go for the 215/45 series. They'll definitely be cheaper since it's a more common size compared to the 205/45 series.

for the price, the ZE512's are good for street use.....
