WOO-HOO & question

I just got all my parts in today!!! I ordered this past tuesday and thursday and got everything today!!! Powerslot front slotted rotors, Axxis Ultimate pads, Eibach prokit springs, (the two fender stickers in the box will lower the car another inch if i put them on), and my Tokico Blues!!!! ONly thing that didn't come yet was my SPC alignment kit had to be drop ordered from SPC.. Other thank that and some of the paint coming off in the box from the blues everything looks good.

anyone have the specs on the brake system for the 2k1 ex sedan? how much fluid the line holds or fill capacity once completely bled... or do you just fill till the master cylinder res. is in the 2 lines?

oh man, if you dont really understand the braking system, then you should have a professional bleed it for you. You basically bleed each wheel starting with the farthest from the master cylinder first. What I would recommend is removing most of the fluid from the resovior prior to bleeding and fill with fresh fluid so you know that each wheel has fresh fluid at the wheel cylinder/caliper when bled. always to make sure you watch the master cylinder to make sure it doesnt go dry. it is simple, but if you mess up you could have no brakes when finished.

If he is just swapping the pads and rotors, no Brake bleeding is nessasary.

I don't remember asking about how to bleed...

I was asking if the entire system (including the res.) is bled through the lines and how much does the system hold (maybe I just didn't word it right (not trying to jump on ya)

I have no idea how much the whole system holds, but it doesnt matter. When you bleed the system, you have a person help you and while that person presses the pedal down halfway or so, then you open the bleeder for a sec and then close it, then they release the pedal and you repeat this several times untill fresh fluid comes out that wheel. And you just keep watching the master cylinder to make sure it is kept full. Usually one bottle will do.

1 big bottle should be enough to bleed your entire brake system unless you sit there pumping out fresh fluid because you can't tell the difference (like me)

but yeah... with 2 big bottles you should have enough to bleed the entire brake system and still have some left over to bleed your clutch's hydraulic system just for good measure.
