Drive Comfort/Quality Stock 2K1
Drive Comfort/Quality Stock 2K1
Hey all
I have 2001 Civic EXi (Non-Vtec version in my country, i.e. Pakistan, is called EXi).
I have driven many cars before in same category i.e. Corolla, Lancer etc.
I purchased this 2K1 Civic 4 months ago. Its very low on millage (13K Miles).
Now the problem is that drive quality/comfort of Civic is not good at all. Road grip is very good but comfort isnt there. On good carpated roads it drives perfectly and smoothly. But on little bit bumpy roads there is no comfort. Shocks/springs are in perfect condition.
Is this with all 2K1 Civics? Whats the problem? How can I get a comfortable drive.
My car is stock with 205/60/15 Dunlop tyres. No modification at all except front upper strut bar.
ADDITION: One more thing, when I go above 120kmph steering wheel (or may be tyres) starts to vibrate. I can feel something is vibrating.
Any help will be appreciated.
Regards,

Well... what exactly are you looking for in the cars ride quality?
Vibration in the steeringwheel is ushuall caused by an unbalance wheel/tire.
