You guys are idiots. They are going to look like any other ordinary tire. The tires don't have the sidewalls to show what the tire looks like inside.
Do you think that some would really produce a tire that looked like that??

this tire is probably the most revolutionary technological development in tire design like since...uhm....inflated tires. who gives a crap how they look...if theyre gonna perform like the ones in the tests these tires are gonna be insane!!
and chances are they wont be completely sealed like some of you said. if they were sealed then there would be no point since the whole thing about these is that they function w/o air pressure but on the internal structure. if there was air pressure inside, the tire wouldnt be able to flex the same way.
oh...and this is a repost.

I think thats an awesome design. Pretty well thought out. Just seems like you could break the flexible spokes. I agree these ones are ugly, but there will be some hot *** ones out there. And I dont think they are that bad. Just the color choices they used werent too good on these ones.

Thats pretty sick right there^. I wonder how well they hold up to hitting that at 40+ mph (potholes).

First off... you're stupid. All that was presented in the link were photo's and no story. I kind of figured they would be sealed, but given all the tacky automotive products out there, I wouldn't put it passed a manufacturer to put something out there like this.
To call me ricer for my simple statement boggles my mind. Lets see... judging by your pix, I would think you're more of a ricer since you drove you're car around looking like a 4X4. That crap looked wacked, but hey... you're the pro. Those played out Tenzo R Passion 5's (or Excels...) look hot!
I know you're like 27, still living at home, but fukin' grow up.

I didnt realize those felixble parts were part of the tire. I thought ti was aprt of the rim, and the tire goes on the far outside. The tire looks like it may be an inch thick, but I guess it was all the tire???
I meant all black would look better. I was not putting these wheels down at all. I think they are quite nice. Did you read my above post? Dont get all pissy, when I said I liked them
and, the only reason I would hit something like that, is when there are potholes I dont see. i dont know how your city is, but here, there are tons of streets with giant potholes. Some are worse than what that pic looks like. I havent hit a curb in over 2 years. I take that back, in my girls jeep I do cuz I dont care. Not in my car, or any other car with rims will I hit a sidewalk. My rims stick out further than anybody elses too. The tire is normal, but the rim is about 1/4" further out than everybody elses.

no reason why they wouldnt hold up. only reason why you cant take a bump at 40 w/ curently available tires is because theyll blow out from the rapid change in pressure distribution. these tires dont have air pressure. and i havent heard of many people bending their 14-15 wheels on potholes, so im guessing with a wide enough sidewall you shouldnt have to worry about bending rims with this tire either.
my question is why youre going over sidewalk curbs at 40mph....

the reason why you are a ricer is because you made a comment saying that "theyre ugly" and you "hope they never make it into producion". you didnt do any research to educate yourself about them, you simply said what came naturally. and this is what i was commenting on...because if that is your natural responce to a technological advancement, w/o doing any research on it, then you are a ricer who only cares about image and not about performance.
since when has michelin released a tacky automotive product...forgive the pun, because im sure a lot of their tires are quite tacky/grippy. but thats not what you meant.
and judging by my pix im a ricer? at least i have pix. and if you bothered to go to page 2 of my pix, you would have seen that i dropped my car after i got the $$ for springs. and belive me, when i got my rims no one had them. not my fault that others like my style. but whatever...i never said i was a pro either, i just dont go shooting off my mouth when i dont know what im talking about...unlike you.
and if you want to discuss my personal life and my choice to live at home at 27, i made a thread about that...so feel free to comment there...theres no place for that in this thread.
