Will 18's Fit an 04 Civic Sedan Ex??

I was told that 18's would for sure rub on my 04 civic sedan EX but my friend was told the same thing on his 96 Grand Am but he put on 20's with no problems at all!.. so i need to know from someone who owns an 04 civic sedan..

assuming your suspension set up is stock and not lowered... yes 18's will fit no problem. even if you got thick and fatty tires, you still probably wouldnt rub unless your trying to. (IE making a u-turn at WOT)

once/if you plan to lower, then think about rubbing.

OT: one post and you joined ever since aug 2004?! haha. maybe you havent been around long enough, but a good reminder is 7.5" is the widest you can go with no problems. as for offset, 38-45 seems about right? idk my offsets yet, still learning on that one.

Yeah my 04 Coupe has 18's with 215 35 18 tires, before I lowered it could have gone with 40 or 45 profile tires, just keep in mind that if you go with taller tires than 35's your speedo will be affected. in other words if you go with say 45 you will be driving much faster than your speedo says.

I also have 18's on mine, and can put up to 19's without rub worries. Anything bigger might be trouble tho. I am also running a 35 series tire with them, but 45's should be okay too.

haha...i'll be able to answer your question for you tomorrow at noon when i pick my car up from the shop: i just got a brand new paint job, CF hood, and a couple other goodies including some 18" Konig Unknowns wrapped in BFGoodrich G-Force KDA T/W 205/40ZR18s...my car is lowered with Neuspeed Race springs, which is tuckin' the stock black nasties, so hopefully they'll fit...i'll have pics up tomorrow afternoon, so check back then...later!
