Nankangs tires good or bad?
I read up on the Nankang NS2 tires and I get mixed reviews from you guys. Some say they're okay for the money, some say they suck, some say they are loud, others argue that they are quiet. I read a post that said that they didn't even last 10,000 miles! I don't know what to think. Overall, I'm getting a bad impression on these tires. I have Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's right now and I love them. The Nankangs come with a wheel package I'm looking to get, so I was just wondering whats up.

One of my friends had a set of Nankang tires he got from Discount Tire. I am not sure on the model. He called them Nankang "Maypops", since he replaced 3 out of 4 due to them being junk. He was not an aggressive driver by any means.

I have those on my car now, they came w/the rim package. I've been having them for almost a year now, haven't had a problem. About the road noise, they are kinda loud when you first have them, after while it goes away.....or maybe I got used to it lol.

There not bad. Yes they are a bit loud. Probably as loud as azenis. The grip isnt too bad for how long the tire lasts. But overall there not that good of a tire. I would pay a little more and get something better

I bought the Hankook Ventus Sport K104 and i love them, not loud at all and make the car corner alot better than my stock tires. Although they are $125 a piece. Worth it though. I wouldn't go cheap on tires though, your tires are what keep your car on the road and you alive. Can't go wrong with, Pirelli, Yokohoma, Nitto, Falken, Kumho, Goodyear.
Ones i don't recommend are: Nankang, Dunlop, Wanli

i have the nankang ns2 215-35-18, had them for about 5000 miles, tread looks new and at first they were a little loud but now they are quiet. ride is good too. you can't beat a new set of 18" tires for $360 shipped.
