I need 215/45/17...
I am going to need new tires soon and I just got back into the market. I was gonna get the BFG gforce sport but a bunch of ppl told me they suck. I went to my local tire store (I know the owner real good) and they can hook me up with Toyo Proxis4's for 400 dollars installed. I was like damn for Toyos that seem like a real good deal. I have not heard anything from anyone about the Toyo Proxis. What do you guys think?
of these which should I get?
-Toyo Proxis4
-BFGoodrich g-Force Sport
-Yokohama AVS ES100

There's nothing wrong with BFGs. They're quite good tires, I'm sure a bunch of ricers told you they sucked because they weren't Nittos or Toyos or some **** like that.

I have the Toyos (same size and make) and I like them real good tires stick to the road very nicely! So far that's what I plan on sticking with. But the BFG's are nice as well they have good grip.

i've got those avs 100's and those are sick, but tread doesn't last very long. Sticky as hell though. can't ell you muc about the others. sorry, but I'm in the market for new tires also.
After many suggestions and reading I finally got some Hankook Ventus R-S2 Z212. The reason is they "supposedly" handle the same or better then the Azenis Rt-615's, according to some Auto-x and road race posts, but a little cheaper. The tires just came in today but I'll post my official opinion on the tire the first chance I get to try them out. FYI :Honda-tech has an entire thread about the tire. Just search for Hankook to find the thread.

Boiler echoes my sentiments. I have BFG GForce KDW on my ride, and sell a shitload of GForce Sports. They are nice tires, and have had zero complaints. One guy at last rotation had a little over 30K on them and a fair amount of tread remaining.
