clear coat on black rims?

clear coat on black rims?

need some help. I've got some tenzo matte black rims. The shine of it is gone and i was was wondering would it be wise to apply some clear coat on it to bring back the shine?

You can't clearcoat over a satin finish without stripping the satin clearcoat first. So basically... you gotta refinish the whole rim. Did you try just waxing them? It tends to help, but matte black is gonna look like matte black, not gloss black.

and/or polishes
check your local autozone, kragen, or pepboys for some rim/wheel shiner/finishers
